In the heart of Croatia, surrounded by forests and hills, you can find our permaculture paradise Bogata Šuma. Our "Rich Forest" gives us an abundance of delicious, healthy, colourful food that we love to share with you.
In our micro-restaurant chef Nol serves 3 courses with the harvest of the day
You only have to choose "all" or "vegetarian" and tell us about your preferences, intolerances or allergies.
We cook 3 course dinners, Croatian style on an outdoor open fire with a "peka", a "kotao" or in a hanging kettle. Or indoors on our wood stove. Roasted garlic soup with home grown elephants garlic, a spinach pie with five kinds of spinach that we grow, mushroom risotto with wild thyme from the field...
Local organic ingredients
All our food is organic, delicious and locally resourced. Most of it comes from our terrain and what we don't grow, we buy on the local market or from neighbors.
All vegetables come from the garden, fruits and nuts from the orchards, mushrooms from our forest, potatoes from the garden or we buy them local.
When we eat meat, we eat our own rabbits or chickens, hand picked snails from the garden or sheep or pork that we buy from our neighbors Janko or Mile.
Milk comes from Milka's cow (down the street), yoghurt we make ourselves with her milk. Cheese and cream we buy from an old lady on the local market.
Restaurant with possible sleep-over
After your dinner you might want to stay in one of our rooms or in a gypsy wagon on the terrain. For guests at The Table we have a special, reduced price.
